Club and Developmental Programs:
We offer both club and developmental programs for players:
Club Program (3rd-12th Grade Players): This program is for players looking to play at a more elite level than the local town programs. Through bringing together the best players from the local Western Mass and Greater Hartford areas we are able to mold a core group of athletes into a competitive cohesive team in New England. The club program includes all practices and tournaments for a given season, and requires a tryout for players who are new to Lax Plus (or returning players who have not participated within the previous calendar year).
Lax Plus Academy (3rd-11th Grade Players / Entering 4th-12th in Fall):
This program is for players who are looking to compete at the club level but may need to fine tune their game or are not available to participate in our full club Calendar. Players are not required to tryout but players should be experienced and will be evaluated to be placed with a team. If we do not feel your child is ready to practice with our one of our teams, our SWAG winter program is appropriate for all levels.
Lax Plus Academy runs in the fall and/or summer and includes all practices for a given season, and the chance to possibly be invited to tournaments.
Lax Plus Futures (1st&2nd Grade)
This is our introductory program for players who finished their town season wanting more. This is a fun skill-based program that continues to build upon the skills of your child. Players who are more advanced may be offered the opportunity to compete with our older teams.
There is no tryout, or prior experience required.
